Cuyahoga Valley National Park (6)
|
Brandywine Creek
The creek which is responsible for Brandywine Falls. It runs west through the park toward the Cuyahoga River.
The creek is shallow with a rocky bed and wooded banks.
At one point there is a rock bridge which crosses the creek.
Brandywine Creek runs underneath Brandywine Road immediately to the east of the falls. Here the stream bed looks like the sandstone covered steps characteristic of the falls.
